Linear was started in January of 2005. The concept was to bring all the benefits of an in house gas marketing group to the independent natural gas producer. Linear’s mission is to bring the best gas marketing in the business to natural gas producers, who choose to not have an in house marketing group.
By aggregating the natural gas production from many fields and many producers, Linear is able to turn multiple small packages of gas into a single market presence. This not only allows Linear to sell the gas at a higher price but also to negotiate better processing contracts and transport fees with the gathering systems. This in turn maximizes our customer’s gas price each and every day.
Linear manages over ninety thousand MMBtus per day throughout South Texas and Louisiana, making us a formidable player in the Gulf Coast Markets, The cumulative effect is a streamlining of the marketing process offering a better bottom line to our customers.
